Introduction

  • We started the podcast because we think many more people could benefit from access to different modalities to support their recovery from anything.

  • We have personal experience working with issues from C-PTSD (Zoe's specialism and lived experience) to late diagnosed neurodivergence. This blog will do its best to cover all the things and bring you free resources as well as links to specialists and crystal sellers we endorse (only joking, we're unlikely to share any crystal selling recs here).

Understanding Your Recovery Needs

  • When you are in the crisis, journeying through the dark night of the soul, when the denial of your pain has unravelled and you feel at your lowest ebb, REACH OUT to anyone you know will listen, this can be friends or family but for many of us, the comfort of strangers can be completely transformational - Google for a 12 step meeting online (there are 12 step programs for alcohol, drugs, debt, sex addiction, sexual abuse, dysfunctional families and on the list goes..) or in person or call help lines like the Samaritans because these modalities do save lives everyday more than you would believe and that should include yours.

  • Make sure that you make a GP appointment if you are struggling with your mental health including panic attacks, or depression that is impeding your ability or any other kind of mental health symptoms that are creating fear and changing behaviours in you. Medical interventions are extremely valuable for some people in their recovery journeys and your doctor is an important resource.
